Obertschötsch - A leisure paradise in every season.

Family holidays at the foot of the Sciliar. Experience a unique holiday close to nature with a wide range of activities for young and old.

Sunny summer

In summer, the Sciliar area and the Alpe di Siusi show their best side. On numerous hikes you can breathe in the scent of freshly mown alpine meadows and enjoy the view of the dreamlike mountain scenery of the Dolomites. Afterwards, you can refresh yourself in one of the many rustic huts that tempt you daily with delicious dishes from South Tyrolean cuisine. Sports lovers are spoilt for choice too: they can prove themselves on adrenaline-filled mountain-bike tours, climbing routes or an exciting game of golf on the 18-hole golf course in San Vigilio, near our farm.

Clear autumn

As the days gradually become shorter and summer comes to an end, our landscape turns into a colourful spectacle that couldn't be more beautiful. Autumn in South Tyrol is referred to as the "fifth season", not only for its stable weather conditions and clear views but also for the great variety of culinary delicacies that are a real holiday highlight. Numerous “Buschenschank” farmhouse inns will tempt your palate with typical dishes, roasted chestnuts and new wine during the well-known "Törggele" period.

Magical winter

The snow-covered winter landscape of the Sciliar area and nearby Val Gardena awaits you with new adventures every day. Families with children, as well as those just looking for peace and quiet, are sure to get their money's worth here. The Alpe di Siusi, Europe's largest alpine plateau, offers countless perfectly groomed ski slopes and cross-country trails. A well-equipped snow park (the largest of South Tyrol) should not be missing for the youngest. But winter here doesn’t only satisfy active holidaymakers: during the Advent season you can visit many Christmas markets in the area and be enchanted by the magical atmosphere while drinking mulled wine.
